Our Caregivers

Our caregivers are trained specifically to provide in-home care. They have successfully passed extensive background checks and are insured, bonded, and trained in CPR and First Aid.

Assisting Hands® will help you select the best match from our pre-screened group of available assistants, and can generally have qualified help placed in your home within 48 hours or less from the initial call.

Our Caregivers

At Assisting Hand, our caregivers are more than just helpers — they are compassionate professionals dedicated to supporting seniors and individuals with dignity, respect, and care. We want families to feel confident knowing their loved ones are in safe and capable hands.

Specialized Care Expertise

Our team is trained to provide personalized support for a wide range of needs, including dementia and Alzheimer’s care, Parkinson’s, post-operative recovery, fall prevention, cognitive stimulation, and other disease-specific care. Many of our caregivers hold additional certifications and specialized training beyond standard First Aid and CPR.

Consistency & Matching

We believe strong relationships build trust. Whenever possible, we ensure the same caregiver(s) are consistently assigned. We also carefully match caregivers not only by skills but also by personality and preferences — because compassion, patience, dignity, and integrity matter just as much as expertise.

Ongoing Training & Quality Assurance

To maintain the highest standard of care, our caregivers participate in regular training, performance reviews, and professional supervision. This ensures they remain up-to-date, supported, and equipped to provide the best care possible.

Flexible & Responsive Support

Life changes, and so do care needs. We pride ourselves on quick response times — from how soon care can begin to adjusting schedules or care plans as needs evolve.

Your trust is our top priority. All caregivers undergo background checks and are fully insured and bonded. We also follow enhanced safety protocols, protect client privacy, and provide references. Many of our caregivers also receive additional safety training for peace of mind.

We value diversity and inclusion. When possible, we strive to match caregivers who understand your language, cultural background, or religious preferences.

The best measure of our work is the experiences of those we serve. We proudly share testimonials and quotes from clients and families who have felt the difference our caregivers make.

Caregiving is not just about completing tasks. Our caregivers provide emotional support, companionship, and meaningful connection — helping to improve quality of life each day.

We empower clients to remain as independent as possible while respecting their privacy, dignity, and individual choices in the comfort of their own homes.

We believe in clarity. Families can expect an open description of the services we provide, what we don’t, and how our caregivers can best support them.
